Sustainability and Development
People environment, health and well-being have always been a priority for Colorgraf: this is why we have been working on sustainability for a long time, with increasingly concrete actions. Since 2010, the roofs of our company have been set up with 5,500 square meters of photovoltaic panels that cover 30% of Colorgraf’s energy needs by producing 111.000 kWh/year: this production allows us to avoid the release of 70,900 kg/year of CO2 into the atmosphere. Further investments in this area are ongoing.
Colorgraf’s commitment to respecting the environment is daily: we replaced neon lamps -containing mercury – with more sustainable LED lamps; we constantly look for packaging and raw materials with an always decreasing environmental impact; our OR, UV and Flexo FP series are certified as compostable; we constantly collaborate with disposers working for energy recovery through waste-to-energy.
