Colorgraf founder Enrico Pellegrini was born in 1909, the youngest of four children, into a working-class family. His father’s premature death forces him to look for a job. Thus he meets his life teacher and collects from him his professional legacy in the production of printing inks. In 1951 he began his industrial activity.

History
Enrico Pellegrini starts his own activity in Milan, Via Felicita Morandi 5.
It is the autumn of 1951 and in via Felicita Morandi, on the northern outskirts of Milan, the “seed” from which Colorgraf will develop is laid. Two years later, in 1953, the headquarters moved to Via Moisè Loria, still in Milan.
The company was born from the will power, the courage, vision and the skills of Enrico Pellegrini who decided to make his dream come true, thanks to the crucial support of his friend Angelo Guglielmi: starting his own business and
become an entrepreneur. Helped by his sister Maria and his brother Piero, supported by less than a dozen collaborators, he began to produce inks.
